Rishikesh Narayanan (rishi iisc.ac.in)

Rishi earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (Advisor: Prof. Y. V. Venkatesh). After that, he held two postdoctoral positions, the first at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore (Advisor: Prof. Sumantra Chattarji), and the second at the University of Texas at Austin (Advisor: Prof. Daniel Johnston). He returned to the Institute in July 2009. He is currently a Professor at the Molecular Biophysics Unit of the Institute.

Richa Sirmaur (richasirmaur iisc.ac.in)

Richa earned her M. Sc. in Biotechnology from the Savitribai Phule Pune University. She joined the Institute as a Ph.D. student in August 2019.

Sanjna Kumari (sanjnakumari iisc.ac.in)

Sanjna earned her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi. She joined the laboratory as an integrated Ph.D. student in April 2020 (August 2019 batch).

Anjana S (anjanas iisc.ac.in)

Anjana earned her integrated masters (IMSc) in Systems Biology from the University of Hyderabad. She joined the Institute as a Ph.D. student in October 2020 as part of the newly initiated interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Brain and Artificial Intelligence.

Sarang Saini (sarangsaini iisc.ac.in)

Sarang earned his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biomedical Sciences, from the Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi. He joined the laboratory in July 2021 as an Integrated PhD student (October 2020 batch).

Gajbhiye Gargi Jayant (gargig iisc.ac.in)

Gargi earned her M. Tech. in Computer Engineering from the Savitribai Phule Pune University. She joined the laboratory as a Ph.D. student in July 2024.

Priyam Garg (priyamgarg iisc.ac.in)

Priyam earned his B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. He joined the Institute as a Ph.D. student in August 2024 as part of the program on Brain, Computation, and Data Science.

Sampratikshya Das (sampratiksh6 iisc.ac.in)

Sampratikshya earned her B.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. She joined the Institute as a Ph.D. student in August 2024.
