Metamorphic Protein Distribution across Species

As we now have an algorithm that is able to predict the metamorphic behaviour in proteins with a high accuracy, we sought out to make predictions on proteomes of many different organisms. We have run our model on 57 different proteomes chosen from all kingdoms of life. The histogram depicts the fraction of proteins that are predicted metamorphic in the proteome. The prediction dataset files can be downloaded from the supplementary material for Morpheus.
